Currents of Pleasure
We clash together in motion
stirring up currents like the waves of the ocean.
Slamming down on jagged rocks
We ascend to the chimney tops.
Smoke rises in wisps
particles in our midsts
like a million grains of sand
tunneling down to the deep.
never to be seen again
swallowed up by the shadows and the darkness of the depths.
Light sets low and a chill bites we huddle close.
Watching as the fire dips into the sea.
A gasp of breath a moment of bliss.
The pleasure fades
a trickle of blood your virtue's gone
like the rising and the setting of the sun.
Was it worth that fake I "love you."
was it worth that maybe "i do."
I don't think so
